This Month's Process Tip  -- EMOTIONAL BALANCE

TO GAIN THE SKILL OF EMOTIONAL BALANCE

AT LEAST 2 TIMES EACH DAY, FOR 5-minutes, repeat the phrase below, slowly and mindfully.                           Fill in the blank with one or two of the options below, doing as that option indicates.

As you feel yourself growing calm, simply repeat the sentence. This can be done sitting, lying down, or moving in some easy rhythmic way (such as walking) in a safe place free of distractions.

ex: Breathing, especially breathing out fully and steadily

Feeling my tension drain down through my feet (and base of spine) into the ground.
